Rich Rizzo

Technology-fluent designer focused on clarity and accessibility.

I design digital experiences that reduce complexity and help people move through information with ease; shaped by work across education, marketing agencies, and large-scale product environments.

Having worked as a web designer, high school and college educator, and contributor to large-scale digital products, my work centers on helping people make sense of complex information. This has taken the form of building websites, developing curricula, and working on content-heavy digital platforms, often in contexts where clarity and ease of use really matter.

Teaching influenced how I design by forcing me to notice confusion early and adjust quickly. I carry that into my design work by breaking problems into smaller parts and focusing on flow, helping people get to the information they need efficiently. I prioritize contrast, composition, and strong imagery to reduce clutter and cognitive load. Whether it’s students in a classroom or prospective patients on a website, my goal is the same: decrease users’ anxiety and make information easier to absorb.
